Donating my hair… The Little Princess Trust

I decided to donate my hair because when I was younger I used to feel very insecure about strangers staring at me because of the way I walked and so doing something with my hair gave me confidence to face them with a smile, when they would finally look up and meet my eyes, rather then a frown. (Kinda similar to why some people choose to wear make-up.) It gave me confidence and I don’t know what I would have done instead when I was younger if for any reason I didn’t have that option. Put simply, that thought inspired me to donate my hair.
If you’ve not heard of the little princess trust, here is brief overview in their own words:

Favourite Books of 2017

Hello all and happy New Years Eve! I have really enjoyed writing about my favourite books – I’ve no idea why I haven’t thought to do it sooner! So, without further ado, here are my top 10 favourite books I’ve read over the last 365 days and why! (Excluding plays.) Not all these books were published in 2017 but it was at least my first time reading them through this year

Blogmas Week 3

Seasons Greetings & welcome to my third and final week of Blogmas!
The week leading up to Christmas was truly crazy: I had full scale performance assessments in Stanislavski, Brecht, British & Classical Theatre along with various other assessments at college throughout the week. Although it was busy – it was by no means an excuse not to be Christmassy!

TravelBook: 96 hours in Krakow

Just before Christmas last year I went with my old school to Krakow as apart of my Philosophy and Ethics A – level and I have rather conflicting views about the whole experience which I felt warranted a post. Naturally however, I think this can be expected from emotionally demanding journeys and on that note I feel that it is only fair that I warn you now before I delve in to it, that elements of content in this post may be of a delicate nature so, please only continue if you feel comfortable to do so. Also in to regard to this I ask that any contribution to the comment section of this post is to remain respectful. {Not that I have any doubt that it won’t be. So thank you in advance for understanding.}

Blogmas Week 2

I’m a little late with this as everything was about assessments in the lead up to Christmas!
The second week of blogmas was however very exciting as it snowed! The first time I can remember in snowing in December in my lifetime. If it ever snows its usually in February!

Weekly Photo Challenge ~ Rounded

I took this photo in the Summer of 2015. My family had decided to go travelling: as both my brothers and I had an extended Summer due to having finished our exams.
If you decide to do this week’s challenge also, let me know; I’d love to see all your amazing photos!

Blogmas Week 1

I visited some family which is always lovely and I contented myself with the fact they had already broken out every Christmas decoration under the sun – it was great!

Weekly Photo Challenge ~ Serene

Admittedly, this photo is from the Summer and not this week… which is kind of given away by the presence of leaves and sunshine but, to me that’s part of what would make me apply the word ‘Serene’ to this photo in the first place!

~ A Letter to November ~

So, it seems I may have messed my quote challenge up a little… or a lot. As Christmas music started playing in my first class last friday morning I realised that really cant keep putting this off! Despite not having done 30 consecutive days I’m still pretty pleased that I managed about half before the plan went completely out the window. I’m not 100% sure where it went wrong, I had my quote posts scheduled. They didn’t post and put simply I haven’t had a chance to sort it yet. I will over the next few weeks or so. For now however, I just feel like writing a little bit about the last month in a slightly different format to my usual ‘letter’s to’ series.

~ A Letter To October ~

Normally I write some kind of poem from whatever has happened in the last 30 days. I’m not going to do that for October though. Firstly, because I’m quite behind with it – I’m sure you’re aware that it is in fact no longer October… Opps… my mistake.
