NaBloPoMo 30 Day Quote Challenge ~ Day 8

Happy Wednesday!
I would like to say that careful, detailed planning went into choosing today’s quote for today – a Wednesday. As it is from the dedication of the book ‘All that she can see’ by No. best-selling author Carrie Hope Fletcher ( who is also an actress currently touring as Wednesday in the Addams Family Musical.) But it would be a straight up lie, its not planned, just a happy coincidence that I now honestly wish I’d thought of doing!

NaBloPoMo 30 Day Quote Challenge ~ Day 7

Today I’ve learnt that writing with chalk is a skill all in its own, one of which I definitely do not possess.

NaBloPoMo 30 Day Quote Challenge ~ Day 6

Good morning everyone!
For once I don’t have the Monday blues but I can definitely relate to today’s quote. It took me a surprising amount of time to realise that I spend even more amount of time in my imagination. Like a lot.

NaBloPoMo 30 Day Quote Challenge ~ Day 5

Happy Sunday!
Today’s quote comes from my sketchbook, which my extremely talented friend Cerise made me for my birthday last year. It has various quotes in she thought I’d like, with space to add more of for own over time. It was un-expected and I truly love it!

Today’s quote I found when I was looking for a birthday card and I just love its simplistic positivity.

NaBloPoMo 30 Day Quote Challenge ~ Day 2

Today’s quote is one I’ve grabbed out of my quote jar and is one I absolutely adore. It is originally from one of my all time favourite books ‘If I Stay’ by Gayle Forman!

NaBloPoMo is a thing… & I Didn't Realise!

Catchy title right? yeah, no. I know its not, but I couldn’t settle on anything!
I wanted to do a post per day for November and so I wanted to see if there was some kind of tag specifically for this first. As it turns out there might just be! Either way I’ve decided to attempt to post at least once per day for the entirety for November this year. At the moment the theme is going to be quotes. I hope to turn the quote into something visual each day, whether it be a drawing, sketch, painting, photo or whatever, hopefully just as something fun and interesting to do which may spread some positivity!

Thank Goodness Its Friday | End of Week Catch up…

This is the very first second I’ve had all week to sit down for a minute with a cup of tea and even contemplate the possibility of writing. It has been non-stop. Now that I have the chance to write about something I’m not even sure where to start (just my luck!) I do however feel like trying something slightly different – I’m currently sat here with my tea thinking about something I’d share from this week and honestly the most random trivia/ and also some nonsense came to my head, but you know what? That’s what my week has kind of been like and so if you were to ask me about the last 7 days I’d tell you these 5 things:

~ A Letter to September ~

One’s time, like a constellation, Burns bright.
We walk through your Golden Gardens, Once, twice,
Hints of Autumn air consume from great heights.
Together. Against the rain turned to Ice.
Though it yields; there’s still blue skies and starred nights.
Like a habit my reflection blinks back:
Now known, your essence, the song will ne’er lack.

~ A Letter to August ~

You came and went again – it seems I wasn’t looking.
A single moment. I stopped and was hooked.
O’ across the country and to the next –
but there you were not. I would know, I Looked.
Clearing the way for Autumn already?
