Theatre Week: ‘The Addams Family’ A Comedy Musical

Back in January 2017 I got tickets for ‘The Addams Family’ for my sister – in – law’s birthday, as something we could all do together because  I don’t see them very often. In my unusual preparedness I had to keep this a secret for a whole 4 months – until her birthday. I decided it was going to be ok though; it would be worth it. Only, it turned out to be the end of June before I saw her. That’s a record breaking silence for me, especially  regarding a musical.  RECORD BREAKING! We both really like Carrie Hope Fletcher as an actress and author, which helped to narrow down the choices tremendously. Honestly, I’m terrible at picking a show to see, I can never decide as there’s just no way to see them all, so I feel like every choice has GOT to count!

Donating my hair… The Little Princess Trust

I decided to donate my hair because when I was younger I used to feel very insecure about strangers staring at me because of the way I walked and so doing something with my hair gave me confidence to face them with a smile, when they would finally look up and meet my eyes, rather then a frown. (Kinda similar to why some people choose to wear make-up.) It gave me confidence and I don’t know what I would have done instead when I was younger if for any reason I didn’t have that option. Put simply, that thought inspired me to donate my hair.
If you’ve not heard of the little princess trust, here is brief overview in their own words:

TravelBook: 96 hours in Krakow

Just before Christmas last year I went with my old school to Krakow as apart of my Philosophy and Ethics A – level and I have rather conflicting views about the whole experience which I felt warranted a post. Naturally however, I think this can be expected from emotionally demanding journeys and on that note I feel that it is only fair that I warn you now before I delve in to it, that elements of content in this post may be of a delicate nature so, please only continue if you feel comfortable to do so. Also in to regard to this I ask that any contribution to the comment section of this post is to remain respectful. {Not that I have any doubt that it won’t be. So thank you in advance for understanding.}

Blogmas Week 1

I visited some family which is always lovely and I contented myself with the fact they had already broken out every Christmas decoration under the sun – it was great!

~ A Letter to November ~

So, it seems I may have messed my quote challenge up a little… or a lot. As Christmas music started playing in my first class last friday morning I realised that really cant keep putting this off! Despite not having done 30 consecutive days I’m still pretty pleased that I managed about half before the plan went completely out the window. I’m not 100% sure where it went wrong, I had my quote posts scheduled. They didn’t post and put simply I haven’t had a chance to sort it yet. I will over the next few weeks or so. For now however, I just feel like writing a little bit about the last month in a slightly different format to my usual ‘letter’s to’ series.
